Gansbaai Ingelegde Produkte’s story starts in 2017. We received a Makataan/Tsamma and we were intrigued to preserve our first bottle of Makataan Jam. We preserved the piece we cut from the Makataan in homemade syrup and with the softer flesh of the Makataan we made Jam.
This was a great success, and we planted our own produce of Makataan. Here our chutneys, sauces and jams started.
Our products since grown and now we hardly make any product without chilli or jalapeno’s in it.
Now in 2020 we are expanding to making products with Habanero’s and so we will keep on growing and producing amazing products.
